Welcome to some road racing! And now the fun begins. Enough with these sissy little ovals where everybody just turns left. Anybody can do that, am I right, folks? Am I? Hello? Is this thing on?

Anyway, it'll be a lot of fun out Sonoma way this afternoon, and we want you to join in on the fun. Write your thoughts here on the race as it's happening, and then come back afterward for some postrace verdicts. Will Jeff Gordon run the table? Will one of the hired guns like Boris Said take the checker? We shall see ...

    I'm going to have to say Jeff is my favorite for today. Glad to see Robby finally got Dish Network and or Camping World on the car for today. What were these idiots thinking.

    Jeff should be claiming he's from Cali this race...it's in his home turf, I believe.
    Kevin Harvick just said that they raised $100,000 for the wrestling program for his old high school. Good job!

    hugs - No dust for me, I picked the same as you and so did packerd. I think we'll find out a lot of people picked them for the obvious reasons.

    The Said heads may have something to cheer about today, he's not starting to far back and the guys in front should crash him like normal so maybe he can get to the front in one piece today.

    JetJack...I am referring to the bozos at the Golf blog and the abuse Jay's taking from a few of the elite.
    Also, I bet alot of people picked that team ,too. I wonder if it's too obvious?

    jeff gordons got it locked if nothing stupid happens he starts 5th tony is 39th so his chances are very bad and tony is the only one whos close to jeff on road courses so jeff gordon will get his 10 road win 24 car all day.

    Raceday had a live interview with him. He said that they were trying to raise money for a new fieldhouse for the wrestling team. John Roberts asked if he wore one of the tight little suits not like Ric Flair with his robes. Then Kevin told him that he meant a singlet and that he did wear one for (I think) 4 years. Then they showed Jimmy Spencer holding a Harvick bobblehead he said he got when he went gassed up at Shell. Kevin said anyone could get one at a Shell station. Then they showed Rutledge trying to hit a bobblehead.

    I got stuck with Gordon, Kahne, Biffle, and Vickers. Who would have thought Kasey would have gottin the pole?
