Okay, we all know Robby Gordon competed in the Dakar Rally, placing third overall while managing to avoid death, maiming, and all other kinds of horrible potential woes. (Church of the Great Oval had some fine coverage throughout.) Gordon's tendency to jump from race to race with little regard for consistency tends to drive a lot of people nuts, but I'm thinking the dude may be a lot slicker than we're thinking. Courtesy of the eagle-eyed John Newsom of The Spotter, check out this video from Stage 10. Watch very closely around the 2:11 mark:
Did you see that? Robby's got someone else to do the driving for him! That's genius, man! Now drivers don't have to bother with all that pesky business of driving, they can just get a headstart on the interviews and the memorabilia signings! Robby Gordon, we salute you. Once again, you, sir, are a pioneer.
