In what might possibly have been the Worst Race In The History Of Humanity, we had what is undoubtedly a contender for best NASCAR video of the year. As Jeff Burton was kicking into high gear, a couple birds apparently didn't get the memo that the Brickyard is a no-fly (ha!) zone:

How can someone kill innocent little birdies like that? (Easy. You don't lead 'em as much.) Boy, that's not going to go over well with The Senator's future PETA constituency.

wow - am I hearing things? Watching Nascar Now and in a post-race interview I SWEAR the D00D just said during a pit stop, Junior ran over one of Kyle's crewmen, so they lost position... are you kiddin me? Did I really hear that? Or does he just totally have it out for Jr?

years ago watching the Daytona race Earnhardt hit a seagull at close to 200 mph was just red vapor and white fluff, as i remember it screwed up his car pretty good.
