Harvick, Edwards try to hug it out, fail

As promised, photos from the Edwards-Harvick fight this week. Now here's one for the family album:

Good rule of thumb: if your opponent's sunglasses are still perched atop his head, you're not trying hard enough.

After the jump, more fight photos. Captioning possibilities are endless!

"Kevin, I'm worried about you. Is that duck a l'Orange sitting okay in your stomach?"

Harvick smash puny Edwards!

Do we have a judge's decision on a winner? Make the call!

Yeah and you are an idiot reds 24. Carl didn't need a points penalty and knew not to go to far. Look at the
picture folks, it's worth a thousand words. Look at the fear in Kevin's eyes. Do you think someone who
doesn't work out can match up against a gym fanatic. If you're unsure, look at the picture again!

Please look at photo 2 and notice an extra pair of hands from Carl's left that push him down.
please re-calculate your score unless 2 on 1 is ok? Carl can whip "skinny Happy" anytime on or off the
track. If Carl is a pansy ( a fairly tough winter plant) what does that make Kevin, a Sweet William?

Fear in his eyes? Man, opinions really are subjective, cause to me it doesn't even look like Carl was able to even make Kevin wobble a little bit.
I think Kevin probably even gave him a scar or two on his hands from all that srubble. And Carl looks like he is saying mercy...

Kinda looks like my boy Kevin got the best of Carl in this tussle. Don't forget that Kevin was a high school wrestler and is no newbie to fighting. Working out in the gym and having physical confrontations are entirely two different things. Harvick has wrestled many opponents to the ground over his career. Kevin doesn't have fear in his eyes, that's called anger.

You're right too Kinggeorge, working out in the gym is half the equation, growing up racing on
dirt more than makes the other half. Although I am a multiple half mile asphalt winner, I have to admit
the dirt boys and girls are tough. My local dirt track is like warfare. They hand you a tire tool on the way
in and you usually have to fight at the payoff table. I'm sure Carl has plenty of dirt fighting experience

    You people are so gullible!!!...
These photos are OBVIOUSLY the product of Carol's fierce Photoshop skills (ref. Krusty Devil pics). I bet Happy and Carl weren't even in the same garage that day...
    (sniff, sniff, sniff)...I smell a Carol/Jay conspiracy!!!!!

JFC #57-- LOL I'll give Carl the advantage on the dirt track toughness, those boys do it the hard way for sure. Here in Bakersfield (where Kevin is from) we had the 1/2 mile asphalt oval Kevin raced and we have the west's fastest 1/3 mile clay oval too. Nothing like Saturday short track racing of either kind to build a little character in a young racer. I think that's the trouble with the new "wonder kids" ie: Joey Lagano, they haven't put in the time building enough character on Saturday night.

Kinggeorge & Reds24, isn't it great we can agree and disagree civally. Why can't our government
follow our example? Why doesn't Nascar hire some true fans like ALL of us in this discussion to
help right their ship? Carry on Nascar fans, some of the greatest fans anywhere! P.S. did you see all
those empty seats at Lowes friday night? Maybe they should try discounting some tickets!

I thought the saying was "Gentlemen Start Your Engines", not "Let's have a good clean fight". As to the extra hands in photo 2. Its okay "The duck" has Carl's back. Doesn't look good for Carl through. It looks like two boys fighting in the schoolyard. Tempers do get warmer as Homestead gets closer. That thought makes me sad. I love the Homestead race, but also hate it, cuz the seasons over:(. Can't we all just get along?

it would be one hell of a scrap if they really fought it out but being an experienced fighter against all sorts of guys I would still give a small edge to carl. I think they would both have marks on them though, Harvick ain't the type to roll over as it appears carl got to learn the hard way.
I bet gibbs wishes one of his guys had pushed carl over instead of a chevy guy like Harvick.

It looks like Delana's hands coming in from the side to pin Carl's left arm to his back. Usually in wrestling when the tag team doesn't tag and both are in the fray then the person who is outnumbered usually comes up on the short end. Carl may have sensed this as he gets shorter and shorter eventually winding up as a sitting duck whose goose is cooked. Could it have been Delana who had Carl in a headlock? Maybe she was identified as the motor coach driver in initial reports to spare Carl futher embarassment. In this instance, Carl long on brawn short on brains is shown a harsh lesson in the meaning of home field advantage.

Please da bucs, did you see Tony climb the fence after his "win"? He probably gained 50 lbs during
the offseason last year. If they would have dangled a 6 ft Subway club however, I bet he would have scurried right up that fence like a squirrel. I truly can't believe Office Depot is leaving Carl for Tony. Truly one of the biggest
    advertising blunders ever!
