From the Marbles - NASCAR

As we near the Daytona, here are the stories that are dominating the NASCAR world. Enjoy.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. --that's him there, lookin' all pensive-like -- is all over a repaving of Daytona, but it ain't gonna happen anytime soon. [NASCAR.com]

• Tampering with a sealed engine now means a 100-point penalty and a good solid public butt-kickin'. [SceneDaily]

• Less than a thousand tickets left for Daytona. Better hurry. [NASCAR Nuts n' Bolts]

• We have an Aric Almirola sighting! But only for an instant. He was quicky-fast at practice. [SceneDaily]

• Thoughts on keeping Kyle Busch and other Sprint Cup stars out of the Nationwide races. [Bump-Drafts]

• First Randy Moss, and now Evander Holyfield is a NASCAR owner. (Evander's in the Nationwide series.) Charles Barkley, the track is calling you. [SceneDaily]

Sorry but I don't see how Jr. can say racing will not be good for the fans.I thought the shootout was a pretty good race. The bumps give the place some character.I don't want to watch a slot car race.

hey, Evan Fields, you need to worry about your 9 kids out of wedlock and your steroid use, ALLEDGEDLY, before you start worrying about Busch cars buddy

lol, Jr's won at texas before, unlike another "superstar" at hendrick motorsports. Pete F, the F stands for failure.

Pete F - One of the oldest cliches in the book! I'm 70 yrs old and I heard that one before I was born. BTW JR has finished 41% of his races, in the TOP TEN. Not so shabby!

That's too many 50 cent words for NASCAR fans. Just pop open a beer before noon, eat a few hundred sandwiches, and watch.

Pragmatice is not a word try Pragmatist.
Privaracater again not a word try prevaricator
    Orautorical try oratorical
You must be doing this on purpose no one is actually that stupid (once again I check my facts) or stupid enough to think it to be insulting plus the fact it's completely devoid of humor. As far as provocation? you cast the first stone sport! did you manage to assimilate that?

Dale jr grew up a spoiled rich kid and is still just that..nascar needs to stop favoring him and treat him just like the other drivers

I think all of you Jr. haters need to grow up. Everyone has their driver that they follow, and if you don't like him, keep your comments to yourself. Dale has made a name for himself in his career...his father did not make it for him. Dale has accomplished what he has without his father here. So good luck to Jr., and the entire Hendrinks Motorsports team!
