From the Marbles - NASCAR

Every day, we bring you the best in NASCAR news and info. Get your day rolling right ... or left, whichever.

• Yes, I know we've been Kasey-heavy the last couple days. Deal with it. If you read nothing else today, read this: the girls of Kasey Kahne. It's a good life for the No. 9 guy. (Aside: check it, remaining brand-loyal even with the ladies climbing all over him. That's a 21st-century driver, there.) [All Left Turns]

• Road courses are the new black. They're also the new short courses. Or something. Anyway, we need more of them. [Hard Turn]

• Friends, it's time to come together for a common cause: help Kyle Busch stop finishing second in Nationwide races! [Stock Car Spin]

• Oh sweet heaven, the sky is falling! Toyota and Childress and Kasey Kahne and Red Bull and aaaagh! (A slightly more sober view of the weekend in rumordom follows.) [NASCAR Insiders]

David Reutimann's dad Buzzie is also a driver, and he's not afraid to flip his own car if the occasion calls for it! [Nuts n' Bolts]

Owens is 100% correct on road courses, with the sole caveat that I've always found them interesting, not just with the COT. Montreal is the logical next move for Cup...the infrastructure is clearly in place, and unlike most races in the boondocks or on the outskirts of a city, this one would be practically downtown. Oh, and it would also be in front of the populous of a greatly underrated motorsports country.
I'm struggling to think of any other American road courses that would be capable of supporting the circus of Cup...maybe Mid Ohio or Road America? There's gotta be something to kill a California date for.

OMG - god bless you for that photo! : D
Where the hell did that chest hair come from? Day-um! : D
This not-quite-twice-his-age woman needs to go get the fan, I'm having a hot flash.
    Dayum he's a hunk.
Sorry, I blame the Sonoma win - I am still on a high!
And can you, uh, find a few more of those, uh, off track photos of Kasey? I'd be much obliged. : D

I just want to know why the chick is front of him .... well, her pants are all wet around her ankles.... maybe I should just leave that one alone....

That is most definitely Bud Light and I should know - my fridge is full of cans! LOL! I don't even drink beer, but I manage to get through two cans a race. But I'm a real lightweight - I prefer Bud Light with Lime.
Lest you think I have never had real beer, I drank my way through Ireland with pints of Guiness - blech! Had to have them put this raspberry thing in it to even get it down! : D

That pic isn't new, anyway. I think it may predate the Bud sponsorship, even.

what better way to show your girlfriend you're cool with her climbing on Kasey Kahne than by straddling the Bud Stud yourself.

    Carol,
That is something they do with the Guiness over there - I want to say it's a "Black and Tan" but I'm not sure. One pub told me to do that when I said I didn't drink beer and was afraid I wouldn't appreciate a Guiness.
Trust me, I appreciated it after that! : D
