From the Marbles - NASCAR

So with the ban on testing shortly to come into effect, at least one driver is thinking, "Hey, why not make this a permanent deal?" Carl Edwards is harkening back to the old show-up-and-throw-the-green days of yore:

"As long as everyone does the same thing, I mean, hell, what does everyone need all this practice for? ... This is NASCAR Sprint Cup racing. We all know how to race. We've all been to these tracks before. Maybe you do a deal where guys who haven't been there before, they get a few hours of practice."

According to Edwards, a contract is circulating amongst drivers and owners that would extend the one-year ban on testing, and Edwards and team owner Jack Roush have said they would sign it. Offhand, this doesn't seem like the worst idea in the world; the phrase "analysis paralysis" comes to mind. Just get in the cars and race. Or maybe I'm just already in NASCAR withdrawal and would watch NASCAR snails right about now.

I don't know it could just be me, but without the practices, how are they going to know that the tires are going to do? I mean look at the crap from this year. Who wants to take odds that it won't go longer than a one year deal if Goodyear doesn't get their act together.

Busbee. did you notice the giant hand coming into the video? I guess it really is like real NASCAR, someone always has a hand in the outcome of the race. I also seen it drop some debri on the track, whoops

Jay's bring out Marbles favorites from the past. Love those snails.
Carl's right....get out there and just race. Stop turning nascar into Formula 1. Get rid of the computers and figure out how to do it the old fashion way.....with your hands and brains.

Some of those snails are obviously female, their grilled cheese's are leaving grease streaks on the track. And it looks like they're molesting Jr. snail.

mp, my buddy works on the ambulance crew, and has told me it can be really bad if the cap is off. you know, like the suction makes it impossible to get out? maybe that's why Jefferey's voice is so high pitched
