From the Marbles - NASCAR

Check that photo above! No, it's not the 2009 river of tears from Junior Nation, it's flooding at Daytona as a result of constant rains over the last month -- 17 inches in the last few days alone -- that have caused Lake Lloyd to surge over its banks, submerging the tunnels and soaking the infield.

Soaking the infield at Daytona? Whew. The last thing the refugee camp that is Turn 3 needs is standing water. Can you imagine what that place is going to smell like in three days? A muggy June afternoon at the zoo, I'm thinking.

(Hat tip to FanHouse; check Flickr for several more photos of the flooding.)
