J-Lo in Boxing Gloves? What If Jennifer Lopez Became a Cage Fighter While Gina Carano is Off Making Movies?
In an article on USAToday discussing J-Lo in a 12 page photo spread for "V" magazine wearing boxing gloves and a man's leather groin protector, Jennifer Lopez says she trains to go 15 rounds.
Since Gina Carano is transferring her MMA fighting skills to theatrical endeavors, why couldn't film star, Jennifer Lopez, transfer her athleticism and fighting skills to the cage? Lopez already trained in Krav Maga for her movie, "Enough". The storyline had the main character train in Krav Maga to defeat her physically abusive husband.
15 rounds of what?
A fan on Twitter, Jahaziel Flores, asked Strikeforce champion, Miesha Tate, "What celebrity would you like in the cage with you for one round.?"
Miesha responded with "hmm, that's a tuff one. lol"
I might have found an answer to that question. This USAToday headline stated, "Jennifer Lopez is ready for a fight".
Curious, I checked out the article showing fashion photos of J-Lo posing in a man's leather groin protector, boxing gloves and a sports bra. The article stated that J-Lo "…liked the idea of posing as a pugilist for the magazine, according to 'V'. 'I can take a lot of punches and still keep going,' she says. 'I've been trained like a boxer to go 15 rounds'."

What if Jenny "from the block" trained in MMA?
But wait, if it's really true that Jennifer Lopez says she can take punches and handle multiple rounds, maybe she would consider training in MMA. J-Lo—with her dancer's coordination and strength—trained in all the different disciplines as an MMA fighter, would be fierce. More fierce, if that's even possible.
From seeing her in the movie clip with her trainer, I can see that she is aggressive, focused, disciplined, athletic, determined and she has an intimidating fight face. In my opinion, J-Lo (from The Bronx) would be an excellent training partner. I'd like to train MMA with her.
Then, one day after working on her skills, maybe she could take on trash-talking "J-Lo style" with the dynamic duo of women's MMA, Strikeforce champion, Miesha Tate and challenger, Ronda Rousey or any other 135ers (or less) who might like to step up to take on the American Idol judge.
