Both men put on an entertaining performance at UFC 144, keeping up a high pace throughout the fight. Edgar showed a lot of heart during the bout, but Henderson proved to be the better fighter, walking away with the unanimous decision and the UFC lightweight title.
Ryan Bader defeats Quinton Jackson
Bader stuck to his game plan at UFC 144, using his wrestling skills to dominate the fight. "Rampage" had some success in the second round - slamming Bader and stunning him momentarily. But he certainly didn't do enough to impress the judges. All three Octagon-side judges scored the fight in favor of Bader.
Mark Hunt defeats Cheick Kongo
Hunt pulled off the upset at UFC 144, catching Kongo with a big right hook and following up with a few more punches. Referee Herb Dean was forced to stop the fight, a few minutes into the first round.
