Woodley and DeRousse walk away with wins from Strikeforce
Tyron Woodley vs. Sal Woods
Tyron Woodley, a two-time All-American wrestler at the University of Missouri, thrilled the crowd at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis with a win over Sal Woods in the first round. Woodley had two slams to get the crowd cheering, and after some ground and pound, choked out Woods with little difficulty.
Booker DeRousse vs. James Wade
DeRousse, a fan favorite at the Scottrade Center, stood and traded blows with Wade for most of the first round. Though Wade hung in early, he got taken down by DeRousse and then turned to his belly to avoid being punched. The red stopped the match at 4:06 in the first, declaring DeRousse the winner by TKO.
