Try not to annoy Brock Lesnar

Based simply on appearance, Brock Lesnar is a dangerous man at 6-foot-3, 285 pounds. Now get him angry and it feels like death is imminent. The media had its first crack at Lesnar in Minneapolis before his UFC fight with Heath Herring and got the vibe that he's tired of talking about the Frank Mir loss.

"What's going through my mind right now is that I'm fighting Heath Herring, I don't give a f**k about Frank Mir!"

Watch around the 6:38 mark as that answer is greeted with near dead silence and the Q & A session ends abruptly just 10 seconds later.

Lesnar also said the five months off since UFC 81 gave him a chance to really study all facets of mixed martial arts. Lesnar thinks Herring is at a disadvantage with no real tape to study his game.

Five months to study all facets of MMA?? That is kind of funny. I think dude is just a monster with wrestling ability, so if he gets you on the ground, and can negotiate and ground and pound you are done. If he fought say, a younger Liddell who could stay out of his way and counter punch he would have trouble. I bet he doesnt throw a decent looking punch/strike, kick, or anything really to do with MMA. But I dont doubt he could get someone on the ground and pound them out. I guess his wrestling is top notch. But he sure got submitted easy..

I hope your wrong Derrick on the decision part and the way the fight may end. I am routing for Brock but do I honestly think he can do it??? Thats anthor question! but Brock does have kind of an attitude but thats what makes his personality. I mean the question was pretty stupid about Frank Mir.. It would probably annoy you also if you are gearing up to fight another guy and they ask you " what where you thinking when Mir alsmost broke your ankle " last time you where in the octagon??? Some reporters say some or ask some stupidid question or remarks. Plain and simple BROCK does need to prove himself. This saturday is when he needs to either make or break himself. Because he needs to step it up and Heath aint no walk in the park. The dude almost almost could of beaten Noguiera.

Anyone gets 'edgy' when they are juiced.. Trust me, it is like a chick on her period 24/7.. Did I just infer he was juicing... Well yeah. I guess I did..
And if I were him I wouldn't be giving a "F#$@" about MIr either. He had that fight won, got stood up and lost by submission shortly thereafter. That is kind of my point, if he cant smother you on the ground, does he still have game?? I dont think so.. He is athletic and big and a great wrestler. Does he kick well? Strike well? throw elbows? knees? BJJ submissions (big difference from freestyle wrestling) ... etc etc.. I would not doubt a good striker would step back as Lesnar rushed in for the inevitable take down and dropped in a right hand (liddells claim to fame) or a knee.. Having said that, i am actually rooting for him.. He has a chance with the weak UFC HW division..

I also cant ignore the fact that if this was a boxer that had trained for 3 years, and was stepping into top notch professional matches, Cofield would be spewing all kinds of crap about how boxing is a joke, and a guy with a record with hardly any fights is getting this much exposure and this big a payday.. It seems like a huge double standard. And it actually shows The UFC Is more showbiz than all you hardcore UFC Fanboys claim it is.. Lets face it, the attraction is to see what this huge, athletic dude can do in a fight. I use the word 'fight' in the loosest possible sense of skilled fighting..

So Norman R. I still dont get your point?? Is it that people shouldn't have an opinion??, or that Lesnar deserves to be fighting for 250 K on this big a stage after a few MMA fights?? Or not?? I agree he had MIr beat, but what troubles me is that once he got stood up, and went back down he got submitted and subsequently tapped very quickly..

Maybe they'll make silva fight at light heavy again, there's a bunch of challenges in that division... But on the subject, brock will beat herring with superior wrestling and ground & pound...

I think if Lesnar gets him on the ground, he wont make the same mistake twice. He is not Jesse Taylor...

I agree...I watched the video thinking it would be tense and uncomfortable...not at all.
Lesnar will make an example out of Herring. This thing will not get out of the first.

u know what, i just watched the weigh-ins and heath looks like hes in phenomenal shape.
both men are going to want to end this fight early, because if they dont it might come down to who gasses first.
i have a feeling this is going to be a pretty good fight.

Wow!! I advise EVERYONE to read the blog and listen to that radio clip about the psycho female fan!! That girl makes a lot of sense and nothing in that interview makes me think she is "Maniacal" as Cofield put it! Through the whole interview Cofield is shi*ting on her, or baiting her to say something stupid....She is well spoken and not crazy at all. After reading the article I expected her to be an idiot....she wasn't! Just another example of how Cofield swings his pro UFC spin on everything he writes! If you have the time to listen to it....you will really have insight on Steve Cofield....What a punk a$$ UFC Beotch!

Yeah Herring looks pretty fit. And it may just be the pic, but Lesnar looks kind of soft around the middle. Lesnar however is a monster. The guys head and hands are scary big.. I hope Herring at least tests that chin before they end up on the ground..

This will be the fight that defines Brock's career. Win or lose. He has had sometime to study and prepare after his loss to Mir. If he put enough training into his submission and defense of it, he could be a top heavywieght. Heath is a well tested fighter, but can he handle Brocks wrestling and ground and pound. I don't think so. For the one who posted the comment about him not having good striking. You must have missed the Frank Mir fight when Brock dropped him with the Stiff right to open th fight. Watch this one tonite if your still unsure about Brock and his striking.
