The guys are glad to each hold a UFC title, but Georges St. Pierre and B.J. Penn think that their fight on Saturday is for a lot more than the extra hardware. The winner can add a huge victory to their legacy.

Penn has fought guys from 155-to-215 pounds. He always looked for the next challenge and considers a potential win over GSP to be the biggest of his career:

"Holding the belt would be very important and historic," said Penn, who would be the first fighter to hold belts in two UFC weight divisions simultaneously, with a victory on Saturday. "You could win the welterweight title from a less important opponent and it wouldn't mean as much. The most important thing is fighting Georges St. Pierre."

For GSP, the second go-round with Penn is about his legacy:

"I'm champion (already), my motivation is not to fight for the title. My motivation is to fight, to beat B.J. Penn. I'm very glad to fight him these great fights make great champions."

Watch the UFC 94 press conference:

These guys met in 2005 at UFC 58. There was no title on the line then. With the welterweight title up for grabs, this fight will be a five round battle instead of three. The guys addressed the question of whether all the trash talk seen during the Primetime show means that they hate each other. St. Pierre talked about the pressure of being involved in the biggest promotion of his career. And Dana White fired back at critics who don't like these weight class crossover superfights. Watch Part 2 and Part 3 of the UFC 94 press conference.

I think BJ is the better fighter, but i'm not sure if he will last the 5 rounds!(especially running at that pace).

Not had a chance to watch the whole conference, but it really is appreciated ESPN Radio videos it. I for one really enjoy watching the pre-fight and post-fight press conferences in full, but often have difficulty finding them in full and in as good quality as presented here. The highlights on the UFC site are ok, but think the hardcore fans really want as much as possible.
So many thanks for this Steve.

GSP all the way on so many levels. Conditioning, hand speed, foot speed, take downs, natural size, athletic ability are all on GSP's side. Penn has him in Jujitsu, although GSP's Jujitsu has vastly improved. The first fight was close and although both are improved I believe GSP has improved to a much much greater extent.
GSP by KO or ref stoppage in Rd 3.

Yeah i'm going for GSP both in my heart and statistically on this one. BJ is awesome don't get me wrong. I was watching his fight with Matt Hughes the other night and he had Hughes beat BEFORE he gassed. His cardio is a hundred times better since then and he's learned so much. But I just think that GSP is just so much more explosive than Penn and his kicks should keep Penn away if they keep it standing. Even if it goes to the ground, GSPs wrestling is on a whole new level and should neutralize Penn's attempts to work his ground game. If it comes down to conditioning even though Penn's conditioning has really improved, GSP is a cardio android so I've gotta give that to GSP too. No matter how this goes however, this should be a really awesome fight!

Penn wins. GSP wilts after taking a nice chin check and then there will be blood. I like both fighters and really don't care about the outcome rather I hope it is a fight for the ages. It would be nice if the people that get it wrong come back and admit they were wrong instead of bashig the fighter (i.e. AA vs Fedor). The whole week before people were dry humpin' AA and not one person came back and ate their own dog food! Penn wins.

With all of this hype, I'm just hoping it doesn't end in the first round or controversially.

GSP crushes Penn this time around, if it wasn't for the poke in the eye in the first match GSP would have dominated all three rounds. Watching the specials on Spike, Penn doesn't look like he has taken the conditioning seriously. I can see him on the ground taking knees to his side like the rest of GSP's victims.
