Poor Stephan Bonnar. The guy is trying to climb back up the light heavyweight contender ladder after 15 months off following knee surgery and he's skewered by the Barbara Walters of the MMA media. As he prepped for UFC prospect Jon Jones, he was grilled by the very sneaky Joyce of RawVegas.

She nailed him. Bonnar let his guard down revealing to thousands that he gets little action from his longtime girlfriend, telling of horror stories of being a tormented teenager and predicting what will be the in thing for 2009 (wo)manscaping.

It is interesting to hear that Bonnar is one of the few MMA fighters allowed to work at Floyd Mayweather's boxing gym in Las Vegas. He's got an interesting fight on tap against Jones. It's probably a little too soon for this step but Jones does have some intriguing tools in his arsenal.

I like Bonnar and hope he does well in his next fight. He's a funny dude too.

been a fan of Bonner since TUF 1. Ironic how that fight with Forrest literally could've gone either way; and yet- a few years later, they're pushing Forrest as a household name, while Bonner is still stuck on the undercard, even though Forrest never really (in my opinion) proved he could beat Bonner. Nothing against Forrest- I'm a fan of his too (that is prob still one of my fav fights ever); but why didn't Stephan get a little bigger push?

Darkness, I felt like the first fight between them could have gone either way as well. A draw would have been about right. I can't believe he admitted not getting much action from his girl. Hopefully the rest of the relationship is good...if not why stay.

Bonner is a completely different fighter (for the better) now. I am totally looking forward to seeing him showcase his improved skills in his next fight.

He was keepin' quiet about the girfriend guys. C'mon. I liked the childhood anecdote though that was funny. He took it all pretty well I think. Should be a good fight. Yeah his a Forrest's fight was something to behold and maybe a draw was closer to the truth but Forrest got the fame and Bonnar got the News anchor spots and the injured knee. More of a push for him I have often wondered that too why obscurity for him?

Nutcracker.....Bonnar we popped for roids right after his loss in the Bonnar/Griffen rematch in which he lost. He was fined and was suspended for (I think) about 9 months. Combine the loss, the roids suspension and the injury and you have your reason for obscurity.
