White men can jump. UFC middleweight Jake Rosholt make sure to point that he's pigment challenged before he replicates the pool jump that got B.J. Penn plenty of notoriety. Cagewriter posted the Penn YouTube video on a Saturday with 3,000 views, it's now at 3.343 million. Clearly viewers were impressed.
UFC 102 fighter Rosholt does Penn, and the original source of the jump Chicago Bears' rookie Jarron Gilbert, one better by doing it backwards:
If that's real, and not some trick photography, it's even more impressive. It takes some stones to risk smashing your back if you come up short on the jump.
Rosholt is looking to make up for a rough UFC debut against Dan Miller at Ultimate Fight Night 17 back in February. He was submitted via guillotine choke. Rosholt is one of three Oklahoma State wrestling legends trying to make the transition to MMA working in Las Vegas with Marc Laimon and Team Takedown. Rosholt draws a tough test in Chris Leben, who is returning from a steroid suspension.
