Quinton Jackson is a pretty easygoing, fun loving dude unless you count his mental meltdown last July in Southern California. That incident and the weeks that followed are still part of the guy's make-up. He believes that he needed to make some changes, mature and deal with anger in a better way. Jackson is putting himself through the ringer as he tries to co-exist on The Ultimate Fighter 10 with Rashad Evans:

"It's an exercise for me to control my temper. That's why I make jokes to keep myself happy so I can be in a good mood," Jackson said. Evans just rubs him the wrong way. "Some of things he says just trigger some thoughts in my mind. I just don't like those thoughts. I don't know if I'll go to jail. Two professional fighters fight on the show ... can I go to jail for that?"

Jackson was joking when he made the jail comment but he was serious that since their face-to-face showdown in the Octagon at UFC 96, he can't stand Evans. He's a little worried about potentially ruining the show:

"This is the biggest test if I can keep from attacking Rashad Evans on the show. I don't know if I'll want to do the show anymore. I just don't trust my temper like that. I'm going to try to be a professional so the show can go on. If I get mad at him and lose my temper, I don't know if I'll want to come back."

Jackson made his own bed and now he has to lie in it. He chose to spend six weeks around Evans with the coaching slot on TUF 10 over facing UFC light heavyweight champ Lyoto Machida. He eventually gets a fight with Evans if he can make it through the season in one piece.

I don't think the UFC regrets putting Jackson on the show but it will if he goes off the deep end again. It's an interesting decision to include a guy who is less than a year removed from a mental breakdown that landed him in jail and hospital isolation. But it's not the first time a person walking that fine line has been on reality television and it certainly won't be the last.

Rampage is one of a kind. Accept no substitutes. I hope he beats Evans and gives Machida the fight of his life

I doubt that Rampage is actually as mentally unstable as he and the show's producers would like us to think. It sounds like it's being packaged for TV, which is perfectly fine, of course. Rampage could host a cooking show and it would be great. Dan Henderson is a cool guy and a great fighter, but he has the personality of a paper weight. TUF 10 should be a good show whether or not Rampage ends up in a straightjacket.

I agree with Aaron, I hope he beats Evans in a big way..My humble opinion is Rampae is a way better fighter and person. He's potentially the best choice to beat Machida, Well outside of Shogun....War Rampage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..I hope you win the title back...
Is it me or does Wandy look small compared to the rest of the guys in 205??? I kinda see Wandy dropping down to the 185's...Anyone agree???

I love Rampage but sometimes he just rambles and it's not that funny. I hope he gets better because he'll have a tough time with Rashad and IMO will get outclasses by Machida if he doesn't improve.

You hit the nail right on the head Nasu Nasulainen. This whole thing, including the grudge between 'Page and Evans is a Spike TV / Dana White packaged deal. What can you say? Sex sells, and if you don't have sex, conflict and drama are next in line. It has made a LOT of money for the guys in the WWE so it's pretty tough to argue with it from a marketing standpoint.
I just hope it doesn't spill over into the cage like it has in boxing. Fixed fights, BS matchups, 4 different HWT champions of the world, etc...
I guess when we start hearing stories about two guys fighting over one of the "Ring Girls" we'll know it's over.

OK, I hope Rampage does go off the deep end, either scripted or not. I would much rather see Rampage slap Kimbo and tell him to go wash his undies and fold em. Oh, yeah and what other stories did you pull out Dana's butt with your lips there "CORNFIELD"or (Cofield)? Any news on the FEDOR MAN BEAST, coming soon? Next time your down their, dig alittle deeper and see if you can pull out some news on it. Breaking story my A$$. he just broke wind in your face.

You know I kind of doubt that Dana would feel a least bit bad if Rampage does go off the deep end and does something. It makes for "great drama" and everyone knows that creates ratings and Dana will be smiling all the way to the bank. But you know something I would love to see is, although unrealistic, is Kimbo knock the hell out of Dana for talking all his smack. As much as a joke that I think Kimbo is as a fighter, Dana is an even bigger joke, and a self righteous douche bag. And as for Rampage and Evans I hope Rampage stomps a mud hole into Evans, hes another self righteous douche bag.

I dont think Rampage ducked willingly...No way.....there gonna hype this fight by building Rampage with a few lead in fights.....He never ran from Wandy and had good reason too.. Wandy handed him his ass and if rampage had a reason to duck a fighter he could have ducked that wanederlei...I forsee a huge build up to Champion versus Champion...
