Size isn't everything in mixed martial arts. Bob Sapp outsized his opponent by 123 pounds and still got manhandled. The 6-foot-4, 319-pound Sapp went to the ground immediately with Ikuhisa Minowa. Sapp is all about power not technique. He had side control against Minowa but was quickly reversed. The Japanese fan favorite got Sapp in an achilles lock putting pressure on both Sapp's knee and ankle. The big man was forced to tap at 1:15 of the first round in first fight of DREAM's Super Hulk Tournament. This was professional fight number 80 for Minowa who is 42-30-8.

Sapp (10-4-1) was a minus-210 favorite at off-shore books. He is scheduled to fight in the United States in late June against former WWE wrestler Bobby Lashley. He appeared to have escaped this fight without serious injury.
