Stay classy Sacramento! Oops, it's too late. The action in the cage has the Sactown fans fired up. Three melees broke out in the crowd around the time the Donald Cerrone-James Krause fight was completed. The photo above featured a female fight that would've made Gina Carano jealous. The curly-haired woman on the left had another woman on the ground and was raining down hammerfists. Give the grounded woman credit, she did rise to her feet and tried to throwback.

The fights broke out when there was a break in the live action as Versus was showing an undercard fight between Scott Jorgensen and Antonio Banuelos. Two minutes into the airing of the undercard fight, the actual video popped on to the big screens at Arco Area. Generally, the filler fights aren't shown at the venue but it was obvious WEC felt like it needed to calm the crowd down and give it something to watch.

The brawls also prompted ring announcer Joe Martinez to joke about the Sactown rowdies:

"Stop fighting in the stands so you can stick around. Come on Sacramento!"

All kidding aside, the fans' conduct is embarrassing. You can only imagine what new MMA fans at Arco and rookie media are thinking as several attendees act like animals. Next up is Jose Aldo against Cub Swanson in a featherweight battle.

    Well, it IS Sacramento.
Seriously, I think the fight in the seats lasted longer than Aldo v Swanson.

Sacramento is on that stretch of highway 5 and 99 where there is absolutely nothing to do. The educated people leave and well, this is what's left.

1st off cheap seats. 2nd that dude in the white Tee has a sweet mustache the dude next to him... poser. How about the guy bottom center of the photo another poser (mexican dude wearing white boy clothes).Check out the two DB's with their hats on backwards - note: anyone over twenty five should no longer go for that look.
I don't remember Hot Rod fighting an alien it was his buddy that helped him fight aliens

@heynow: Note: anyone who looks at a picture and and does nothing but try to critique people's clothing to try to be funny is a douche.. who cares what ethnicity wears a type of clothing nor what age wears their hat backwards..

I was at the fight and I've been to several Raiders games here in Oakland. Lets just say Raider fans behaved better than these fight fans.

There's a curly-haired woman on the left? Either I'm missing something or that fight straightened her hair right out.

Just about every large venue professional fight I've been to there have been fights in the crowd. They were selling beer remember.

Yeah, true, I've seen it happen at WWE shows quite a few times. Anytime that many people are drinking in one place (and watching fights to make it worse) that's always bound to happen.

Good call on BJ Penn working security. Ok I take back my comments after looking at the picture a little longer and realizing this was Central Cali event I was mistaken these folks in the photos are class acts and I am sure they are pillars of their communities. This is great, look at the people of different backgrounds laughing and having a good time...together (all be it at the expense of two broads err "ladies" fighting each other). Dude with the SKIN shirt sorry about the comment I just think it is funny seeing grown men dressing like teen agers.

Alcohol in a group event tends to equal fighting in the stands. We don't even wait for a fight to come to town, we'll get the fights going here at jr hockey games (well, wait, I've seen more fighting there...), college baseball games, roller derby events. Never mind if an actual fight comes here. Tho' some of those have been calmer than the hockey games.

Hey, if grown men didn't wear shirts made for teens, I wouldn't have a wardrobe (except for the turned around hat look). I gave that up when i was 18.
If you can wear it, wear it. Isn't that what the market for shirts like that are for, especially MMA shirts?
No one complains when a smoking hot MILF walks around in her daughter's outfits.
And this was a classic picture for C-n-C.
The way all the guys are rubber necking, it makes me wonder if there is a boob shot in there somewhere.

It's so simple, watching fights while you drink beer, it connects with a primal reaction to fight. Sometimes there's a woman involved, The problem is with the individuals who cannot control themselves after consuming alcohol. Many other sports have stopped serving alcohol. In baseball some parks stop alcohol sales in the 7th inning.
When you and your buds head for the snack bar and find out that alcohol sale has been discontinued, or modified in some way, remember it's because of those guys who can't handle alcohol, and lose control, it's not cool.
