Monday morning knockout: The best of Fedor Emelianenko

You will get to see Fedor Emelianenko fight this Saturday on free TV, but in the meantime, here's a primer on what he can do. This highlight video, though it's filled with annoying sound effects and unnecessary edits, runs down some of Emelianenko's best hits. His wins over Tim Sylvia, Hong Man Choi, Naoya Ogawa and Gary Goodridge are all included.

And yes, I realize that these aren't all knockout wins, but who doesn't like a few submissions along with some knockouts?

    As you warned, those sound effects are awful. Yet, it seems clear that Fedor is the best in the world. I don't think even Brock Lesnar would last one round.

    UFC fan boys, watch the video. Rip on Fedor's level of competition all you want. Do you think that Fedor's speed, power, explosiveness or technique would suddenly disappear if he were to fight in the UFC? Is the Octogon made of Kryptonite?

    you could've made your own video of fedor highlights maggie. i come here once in a blue moon, hoping for something better. and first thing i see is this. surprised you even put anything at all. the way you and cofield have been ripping fedor and strikeforce lately.

    This would be a nice video clip if it was not made in the same style as all of the idiotic "rap/club re-mix" songs that morons post. Seriously...what is the point of the replay/sound effect crap? That makes this sport look retarded to peopl who may not knwo it very well. Way to represent Maggie...another fine job...

    Fujita fight is the best. At 5:25, that's the only punch, Fedor claims, that has rocked him in all his mma fights.

    hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahaha.
    Peripheral he's beaten noguera twice in his prime. He laid on one of the worst beatings of Nog's life in those two fights. Your like that commercial where the guys mouth isnt moving and he is talking out of his ass.
    Its ok everyone in America will be familiar with Fedor in a couple days after he destroys this tire changer turned Martial artist.

    Fedor is/was the best HW in MMA, I don't know if he is still at that level but its more than obvious it would take a mack truck to beat him.

    I watched the video with the sound off, making the only annoying part the re-re-re-remixe's. I do love the Goodridge match. Big Daddy didn't know what hit him. Will Rogers end up the same way? It certainly appears so.

    Fedor is the best fighter in the world. I had the pleasure of watching him train in Russia last year. Believe me when I tell you that he is an awesome individual. I workout 6 days a week, am a black belt in Jui Jitsu and run 3 marathons a year. I wish my conditioning was half of what Fedor's is!!! Too bad Dana is greedy and won't let him fight Brock. On another note, Shogun Rua won the fight outright!!

    Video - WOW, that was some of the most annoying sound effects and unnecessary edits I ever seen or heard. It just got irritating. As Robert C. said watch it with the volume off and it's not as bad. You only have to deal with those stupid edits.
    Fedor - No question this guy is for real. Can't wait to see him fight Brett Rogers.

    Im glad they included the highlights of his matches with Hong Man Choi, Naoya Ogawa and Gary Goodridge. Being the stellar, world class competition they were.

    People knocking Maggie as if she is the one that put the video together...why?
    Even with the stupid rewinds and sound, I still enjoyed the video. I had not seen most of those fights before, now I have and I am even more convinced that Brett Rogers is going down.
    Yeah, yeah.....not top opponents. But it is still very impressive to see how he overcomes the huge size differences with relative ease. He took a punch that would have KO'd almost anyone and a head slam that looked nasty. None of it mattered to Fedor.
    I am fairly certain that the UFC guys were relieved when Fedor did not sign. The only one that would probably WANT to fight him is Randy. But Randy doesn't mind losing. Pretty sure even Brock would feel some fear...how could he not?

    Steve W i never mentioned Mir. he lost to barnett and henderson in addition to the losses to fedor. and should have lost at least 2 other fights, where he was in trouble and the other fighters didnt jump on him. Fedor has no stand up. watch the video. he looks horrible. He is obviously a great fighter, but he is not anywhere near the skill level of an Anderson silva, GSP, Penn, etc.

    Was this really supposed to make Fedor look unbeatable?? He gets manhandled By Hong Man and Randleman( what will Brock do to him) lands dozens of flush shots but puts no one to sleep with one punch standing(no KO power) and throws lopping slapping punches from outside!!! I have seen too many Fedor fights and I am so sorry but I don't see what the Fedor fans see!! Oh and by the way he only submits guys who make it easy for him!!
