Jackson 'medically unfit' for booking at O.C. Jail now at a hospital

Earlier reports from the Costa Mesa police said that Rampage Jackson was not under suspicion for drugs or alcohol. TMZ.com is reporting a change in the story. There's no new evidence to say that it was drugs or alcohol, but for some reason Jackson was NOT booked into the Orange County Jail. A check of the Orange County Jail website does confirm that there was no Quinton Ramone Jackson booked on July 15.

UPDATE: The initial info was incorrect from TMZ.com. Jackson was brought to the Costa Mesa Jail, not OCJ, and did post bail on Wednesday morning.

    jammed - It ain't cool to be black anywhere where you gettting arrested. It's not all cops, and it's not all white cops, it's just cops. In Oklahoma, I remember a black guy who came home (Texas) from Iraq looking for a relative's house. He got arrested for just for being lost (he was looking around "suspiciously" they said) and riding in a Porsche they thought he stole.

    No, Derrick M, you got it wrong. Yes, he was in the wrong. Yes, he should be charged like any other celebrity who drives like a JACKA-S-S. What I was talking about was the handling of a suspect. Cop are usually rough when arresting someone.

    Why did he get to choose were he was booked? Is that something new? Is it because of his celebrity status? Why do these insecure walking stains get special treatment? Throw the book at him. He's still upset about losing his belt. So what, train harder and win it back, if you've got the marbles. I think living up to his nickname is gonna cost him pretty big. He should do time for this.

    Wreckinball - remember, he's a celebrity. He gets SPECIAL treatment. I know an NFL player killed a pedestrian while driving drunk and got off, while if we did that, it'd life. I doubt Rampage will be made an example of, celebrity-wise.

    Believe me if he plowed into ten cars and ran from the cops he would be in the books of the policed department. The article says he was in the jail log!

    It's ok folks, he fights in the MMA, he's black, the cops are white, he's got Dana White (greedy promoter) who will back him no matter what, so what if he hit all them cars, he was busy eatin chicken and calling a local market to see if they still had watermelon. The guy's pure GETTO, just put him in prison w/ his own kind where he can just flourish. He'll use his black get out of jail card (in this case Dana Whites money) to get out, he'll be fighting for White forever. Yea, whites just pickin on that poor harmless blackman.
