How did you score Forrest-Rampage?

Forrest Griffin scored a unanimous decision win over Quinton "Rampage" Jackson for the UFC light heavyweight title on Saturday. The judges' scores were 48-46, 48-46, and 49-46.

Kevin Iole of Yahoo! Sports scored it 48-46 Griffin; Dave Meltzer and I both scored it a 47-47 draw.

How did you score it?

i dont think Griffin did enough to win the fight. in order to get the belt you need to Win decisively & Forest didnt do that. Forest had him with the leg kicks but didnt have the fight close to being stopped like Rampage did in the 1st with a very close knockout. to beat the champion you have to dominate the whole fight or close to it & Forest did neither

I scored the fight a draw. I gave Rampage the first, third, and fifth rounds. I gave Forrest the second and fourth. I scored the second round 10-8 for Forrest. I didn't think Rampage did enough in that round to merit a 10-9. There is no way I saw it as a unanamous decision. At best, it should have been a split decision for Forrest.

Been a Team Griffin fan from TUF but gotta say I thought he lost the decision, so the final outcome of unanimous scoring is really surprising. And championship fights that go to decision are never fully satisfying to the fans nor to the competitors. I hope Forrest continues to "surprise" and "whoop some a$&" (in the esteemed words of Quinton Rampage Jackson) as the new Light Heavyweight Champion.

I"m sure Dana was behind the whole thing. watch it again, Forrest knew he lost and dropped his hand right before the decision. To take a belt you have to dominate and he only won one round. I guess Dana"s boy Chuck can now get the title back.

I really don't understand those that scored this a draw. I wtched the fight on mute from a bar and scored it exactly like the judges, forrest won the second round ten-eight, and he took the fifth round... not rampage. I am a fan of both fighters, but i am curious about those that say you have to "Win decisively," why? Why should you have to ko or sub the champ just to win? realisticly Forrest won this fight and even page admitted to Getting his "a$$ Whooped."

I'm not sure you guys were even watching the same fight! I gave 1 round maybe 2 to Jackson, and the rest of the time he was just backpedaling and getting kicked in the leg. His leg was hurt badly early in the match which made him not able to fully get out of the way. It was the correct decision.

I had it 48-47 Rampage and so did 4 out of the 6 people I watched it with.... One had it a 47-47 draw and one had it 48-47 Forrest. And all but one wanted Forrest to win.

I dont think forrest deserved to win this fight. rampage was still standing still aggressive. I think the judges as well as the commentators were biased because this guy was the tuf winner. he had an outstanding round 2 but all the other rounds were close and should at least been a draw.Granted rampage wasnt his best but the champ is not suppose to lose a unanimous desicion standing whut a bogus call bogus fight shame on the ufc...........I would have rathered see the fight stopped becuz of the knee than to watch this debacle. I still love the UFC go BJ PENN

One of the worst decisions in ufc history, thought i was watching a different fight then the judges. Rampage one the 1,3,4 rounds for sure. I give Forrest Griffin round 2, but the judges scores are horrible, will diffently be seing a Rampage vs Griffin 2.

Draw? What fight were you people watching? I agree with the judges decision. Forrest won fair and square. I had him ahead on 3 of the 5 rounds. As for Dana being behind anything (like fight fixing)...gimme a break. Another mma conspiracy theorist...great.

Hard to believe that we are headed to boxing again, bye the way a 10-8 round and one more would be a draw 47-47. The punch count on the fifth on replay was 9 hard t 4 Rampage. Did you hear the crowd, it sure wasn't a black crowd. I am white and rampage won the fight and anyone who thinks he lost bad enough to have the belt taken is a racist moron. if you saw it and recorded it look again. Did you see Rampages face after the fight and that devastating second round. Not even a puffy cheek.

The U F C is getting like every other sport, if you dont do what [THE MAN SAY]this is what happens. To be the champ you have to beat the champ and Griffin didnt do that.Lets see in the rematch.

Even if you give Griffin round 2 10-8 thats 47-47 draw.

It was a close fight but I can't see where those people who scored it for Rampage are coming from. Forrest controlled the fight from an aggressive standpoint, and really won the ground game. He was out-boxed but certainly landed his fair share of strikes as well as the important leg kicks. Rampage nailed him with the uppercut and hit him hard a number of times with strikes but did nothing on the ground. I am in complete agreement 48-46 due to the round two domination by Forrest.

michael w Did you watch the fight? That was clearly a bunch of good ol boys doing their thing. Mayweather is right too. They couldn't wait till he retired so they could have their next white hope. Too bad that will end too.

hey just because Rampage shows class to the sport he is involved in does not change the fact that punches landed and damage delivered was clearly Rampage, I wanted to see Forrest win but he didn't do enough to take the belt.

I think it was really close, but Forrest by a slim margin. Also, you do not have to "dominate" the whole fight to win the championship, you just have to win more rounds & get more points. That notion is a boxing "unwritten rule" that has never made sense.the better fighter that night should win, period. bad decisions that are too common in boxing are why mma is popular & boxing is just about dead.

Another super weak ufc event. Danna White is Vince McMahnnoning UFC bad. All you have to do is be a butt kisser to be a champ. Jackson should've won.
