Has Chris Leben really changed?

In honor of Chris Leben's fight with Michael Bisping, here is video of Leben acting like a drunk fool:

The video is dated January of 2008, before the embarassing turn of events that cancelled Bisping/Leben the first time. He now claims that he is a reformed man, doesn't drink and is ready to beat Bisping this weekend at UFC 89 in Birmingham, England. I certainly hope that is true. We have watched Leben's alcohol-induced antics since he was on the first season of the Ultimate Fighter, and quite frankly, it got old. As a fan, I kept waiting for Leben to fulfill his promise, and I couldn't help but wonder if it was the bottle that was holding him back. We shall see this weekend if he really has changed.

Reljic vs. Leites was on the UFC 90 card with Silva, and Bisping vs. Leben is on UFC 89.

HAHA how is it only just OK??? My head wants to explode when i hear that crap.I mean do you require championship fights from a UFC event everytime you watch?Bisping VS Leben might not be a blockbuster matchup but i have seen all to often these seemingly mundane cards produce bigtime fights with very memorable moments. And on top of all that you want to watch BOXING???OK ill skip the ufc event to go watch wwe YEAH RIGHT true MMa fans will appreciate the card that features good fighters that have been fighting their way to the top and rightfully earning their place!!!!

Luis Cane is 8-1 with his only loss coming by DQ in his UFC debut when he kneed a downed James Irvin in the head. His second UFC fight he KTFO'd Jason Lambert in impressive fashion...but then again, who isn't doing that to Lambert these days? Prior to those two fights he only fought one other nobody in the U.S. and the rest were nobodies in Brazil. He looks promising but he's gonna need some great technique to overcome the power of Sokoudjou, not to mention his top level judo skills. But like we saw against Machida, despite Sok's judo experience...he couldn't do much to defend on the ground, so we all know where Cane will want to take the fight.

Geez Maggie, you really have a love/hate thing going on with this main event don't you? On one hand you have everyone believing you wanna marry Bisping, on the other it seems you're out for Leben's head. I wonder is it your love for The Count that has you rooting against Leben or do you truly dislike the thick-skulled heavy-handed neophile and why?

i can appreciate this card cuz its FREE
besides that i think it should be called Ultimate Fight Night
I think Leban vs The Count will be good
I just know I wouldnt spend $45 on it
but then again i never do cuz I go to the bar and pay $5
but i dont hate on anybody
Bernard Hopkins is one of the best counter punchers ever
Kelly Pavlik is laying fools out, so I will record Ultimate Fight Night 89
and watch it later if I had to choose between the two it would always be MMA
but this card is free for a reason
who u got Leban or Bisping, Vera or Jardine
i got Bisping and Vera gettin W's

i cant wait to see this fight. i hope bisping cracks lebens skull... i cant stand that jackass!! as for vera and jardine im not sure who to take on that one. i like both of them but i would like to see vera win it with action to redeem himself from his last fight, which had about as much action as watching 90 year olds procreate.

    What up D rok?
I like all your picks BUT = I'll take Leben & BJ Penn. I do like Bisping better at 185 but I can't pick him, he has got to be the poorest sport in MMA... and I'm hoping that drunk Leben catches him.
If BJ Penn comes in with improved cardio like I know he will, he will knock Georges out or sub him. I think St. Pierre fears BJ, did you see what Penn did to Georges face b4 his tank went on empty?

Hey Chris Leben... go KTFO that poor sport across the pond. He acts like Dana has fixed the judges so it's hard for him to lose and he knows it.
