Some people thrive on conflict and angst. Is has to be why B.J. Penn continues to throw fresh coals into the stove to stoke the "Grease-Gate" fire. Now not only is Georges St. Pierre and his camp being smeared, Penn has turned his attention to Kenny Florian, who just happens to be his next opponent.

Penn, the UFC lightweight champ, doesn't seem too pleased to find out that Florian will train for his lightweight title shot against "The Prodigy" with GSP in Montreal. Penn said on his radio show that Florian is a turncoat:

"Oh, that's funny, he's going to tristar?  He's the who who tipped us off that GSP was going to be greasing," said Penn. "He actually emailed me and tipped me off."

Florian, who is also a member of the MMA media with his spot on ESPN's MMA live show, denied the accusations:

"I don't even know BJ's email.  How or why would I send that information?"

Penn's latest video tries to clarify the email statement:

"Kenny if you're going to call me a liar on stuff I'm going to call you out. You're right it was not an email, you texted someone in the camp and told them that GSP is a big roider and big greaser to watch out for him. Kenny, I'm just calling a spade a spade."

Click here to watch at BJPenn.com:

Penn says plenty of witnesses saw the alleged text including Penn's boxing coach Jason Parillo. That's pretty serious stuff. Now it's gone from greasing to St. Pierre is the ARod of the UFC. Do you believe Penn or is this just more drama to hype his next fight?

B.J. is just bitter. He is seeing an opportunity to take away from what was an obvious beatdown from GSP. When Florian beats the hell outta him, he'll say something about him too. In the end, he'll be known as B.J. "The Whiner" Penn....Get over it Penn....

Wish BJ would put as much effort into his training as he does his media interviews. Why can't he accept that he got beat by a guy is a legit welterweight while he should stay at lightweight. BJ had to "flab up" to get close to 170 while everyone else in the division cuts to get there. He will always be at a strength disadvantage at welterweight. He better pay attention and focus on Florian, dude is a serious threat to his title. He's starting to tarnish his reputation with all the crying about GSP. He's grabbing at straws claiming GSP is on steroids.

I used to be a big Penn fan, but every whiny, excuse-making, pussified interview makes me like him a lot less. He's still probably the best LW in the world, and maybe this is all just an act to hype his next match, but he just comes out looking like a douche.

I can see it now, 4 months of BJ, bad mouthing GSP, and by his association Florian , I highly doubt he is going to say much about florian as a fighter but hes going to continue to not shut up about GSP. Untill George so tired of listening to Baby J, he begs dana for the fight. Earth to BJ you got handed a royal beat down, by a far superiour athlete and fighter

It's a sad day when BJ Penn becomes a better fighter on the internet, then in real life. Someone give him an Internet Warrior Championship belt now.

I noticed before the match, and the days leading up to the match, BJ was out of it. I wonder if going to Vegas and catching a negative vibe from all the lightweights and welterweights impacted him. If you remember, a lot of fighters were pissed at BJ for tangling up both weight divisions just for this fight… I wonder if it had a negative impact on him mentally before the fight. He was in Vegas at least a few days before the actual fight…it seems like the vibes were negative against him, and this may have impacted him more than anything else before the fight. If I were a fighter, all the fighters being pissed off at me would have affected me. As far as I’m concerned, BJ deserved any negative vibes. He should have never tried to get a welterweight title fight the way he did!

You can't blame BJ for wanting another fight with GSP he felt he won the first fight. BJ Thinks he can beat anybody there is nothing wrong with that mind set but he has to take his training more seriously.

BJ needs to stick with the Sherks of this world.. Guys with arms like Tattoo on Fantasy Island that cant get close enough to land a punch.. BJ's stand up is not good. He looked good against Tattoo, not against a normal sized fighter in GSP....

i know that BJ simply got beat by a superior athlete and more well rounded fighter....and yes, Nut, he did get beat in the stand up game but only for the same reasons you say BJ beat Sherk.....shorter arms....that said, ill be the first to bring the crow to this blog if BJ loses to Kenflo....BJ is going to throw him a beating....write that down....

Ok, let's face facts if BJ received this mysterious text form Kenny Florian before the fight then why didn't he have his people watching out for the greasing and complain to the ref when they saw it happen. Or one better bring it up before the fight in his interviews and to the officials and GSP's corner men. Also, is it just me or do his eyes look glazed over enough that if he were to take a piss test he wouldn't pass. I've never smoked weed but I have plenty of friends that do and his eyes look just like theirs. Just saying.

Jeez BJ !! As they would say in Battlestar, SHUT THE FRACK UP! It's funny how BJ changed his story, first he said Florian emailed him and now it's a text to some OTHER fighter? LMAO!! Way to keep that story straight huh BJ? I was a huge Kflo fan before and wanted him to be BJ but now I hope he retires BJ. I guarantee a win over Penn in the upcoming fight and you can quote me on that lol.

NUT - Yes! I just got back from the boxing blogs where I ran into boxing fans who say "why compare the two sports". Hmmmm, funny how we all say to you!!! Plus I wanted equal representation. Can't have a boxing troll on the MMA sites without a MMA troll on the boxing site, now can we???? Put in a tape of Hatton (boxings version of Nut's PLODDER), Margarito (post concrete wraps), or Roberto Duran, they are sure to impress..............and damn NUT, all they have to train in is boxing YET they still sucked!!! LOL, imagine if they had to train in EVERY facit of fighting not just a pitty pat, jab, jab, hug, hug snoozefest. Those who fight, MMA, those who hug, boxing........................

Cofield is a clown. But his love for BJ will never end. Tomorrow is Valentine's Day, I wonder what Cofield picked out for BJ?
Crazy how BJ mocked Georges for seeing a sports psychologist when he is dire need of one himself.
I really hope BJ can gather and regroup. He is a damn fine fighter and has a lot to offer to the MMA world. But his latest antics sure do blow.
