The Dana White video blogs get funnier and funnier before each event. White was flying back from London all day on Tuesday but had enough energy left to throw a one man 'EliteXC is dead' party in his hotel room.

White said it was a great day for the business. He also gave career advice to the EliteXC executives:

"Jeremy Lappen, the three-time loser you have a law degree get a real (expletive) job. Your parents must be really bummed out. Go screw up someone's (expletive) court case."

He then turns his attention to Jared Shaw:

"You got a rich daddy. You can live at home with your Mom and Dad (and) live in the basement. You don't even have to get a job you can just hang out at nightclubs and DJ and go back to the basement you little (expletive)."

White also unloads on a radio host and implores viewers to buy Playboy featuring former UFC Octagon girl Rachelle Leah.

White is just playing it up because he loves to bash in peoples skulls with his tongue.
He is on top but has to be careful not to be so conceited that he turns off more people than he thinks.

I just wonder how this will effect us the fans? there will not be as many free shows to try and ruin competition. How will this effect the purse money of the fighters? A lack of competition is seldom a good thing for consumers.....
and where oh where will my dream girl Gina go?

I like Dana but he pitched the wrong fighter at the end of the interview. Thiago Alves, not Thiago Silva, is fighting Kos. Oops!

Deecee nailed it. Hate on EliteXC and Affliction as much as you want, but realize they force UFC to step up their game.
I can see UFC still doing a freebie every now and then for the first few months just to make it look like they are still going to serve the fan, but then going back to PPV only once the fans move on.

Elite XC was TERRIBLE for mma. They relied on their success on clown show with Kimbo and not actualy MMA. Making all the non-mma fans into believing it's just animalistic brawl in a cage. I am glad they're gone with Kimbo with them.
Also UFC did do really good card as last freebie. It turned out terribly boring because
    1. Fans were pretty bad (Only cheering now and then for only British fighters)
    2. Bisping fought a smart/coward's fight depending on which way you look at it which made for a bore. If you really want to be a champion you need to go out and try to win not just get enough score points to barely win by decision.

P.S I mean really before people saw the fight, how many of you were excited?
I know I was. Leben, Bisping, Jardine, Vera, Lytle? All pretty big names for free but fighters didn't deliever not the UFC.

Absolutely no class. Why would anyone want to give any money to this man by supporting his organization? I loved the original UFC but I refuse to support this classless idiot.

I dont think we'll be losing too many free fight cards. Dana enjoys taking ratings from boxing as much as competing MMA orginizations. Last free show was up against PPV Hopkins/Pavlik not another MMA card. Also, he's a business man, so in order to make more money he'll always want more fans. Best way to get new fans is give them the option to see the product for no cost to them. The Thiago Silva thing was funny, but "at least EliteXC tried"?? They "tried" to make a quick buck off a product that Dana and the UFC made, they didnt "try" to make a QUALITY company or one that would help MMA progress. Hopefully Affliction learns from EliteXC's failure and offers an honest and legitimate alternative to the UFC.

to robert: thiago silva is a 25 year-old light-heavyweight who is 13-0 (mma) 4-0 (ufc). he's a bjj black belt and a noted muay thai striker.
knuckle sandwich: the ufc has always done free cards, and will continue to do so. every ultimate fight night is free, as well as every event in europe. the only thing that the recent competition brought was anderson silva fighting on a free card, and that was against affliction, not exc.

    @ #7, J
You are an idiot J. We give money to this man and support his organization because we are true mixed martial arts fans. What "original UFC" were you a fan of, the Gracies version or the SEG version that ran the UFC in to the ground and almost ruined the sport forever? With those two owners, we were lucky to get two or three shows a year. Zuffa purchased the UFC for a measely two million dollars and turned it in to a multi billion dollar company. Now instead of two shows a year we get to see twelve to fifteen shows a year with ppvs and fight nights. Plus we get to watch a reality show twice a year showcasing up and coming young fighters. Dana White is the savior of this sport. If it weren't for him, who knows where mma would be today?

If I just beat my competition and called it like he did I would be gloating too. I like to watch as much MMA as possible and I don't think the colapsing of XC will be the end of new MMA. Plus we all knew this would happen you just can't push a guy (Kimbo) to be a top fighter before he's ready cause then he gets exposed and your company looks hacky for doing it. I know in the end that I'll see some of those fighters again in some other leagues and who knows maybe a new organization will pop up.

#17- If you were "true" mixed martial arts fans, you'd enjoy real competition and applaud the efforts of EliteXC and Affliction. At least they tried to give some variety to the fans. I was no fan of EliteXC, but at least they gave it an effort and in doing so, they forced the UFC to up the quality.
As far as me being an idiot, I believe you showed yourself to be the real moron when you mentioned "the reality show". 45 minutes of manufactured drama with a bunch of testosterone junkies having a "who's got the bigger balls" competition and then at the end we get to watch one fight while White struts around and has every other word bleeped out. Whoopee. Stick to your reality shows Ricky C. Maybe you can catch a rerun of Bridezillas.

I can really see someone whipping Dana's a$$ one of these days. LOL
Really man show some type of class, I understand that UFC is the top dog and I watch everytime I can, but acting like that is childish and uncalled for. I agree I'm stoked that Elite XC is out of the game, they did nothing decent for the sport what so ever, but that is no reason to make a video of yourself being a jacka$$ and acting like a 6 year old who just won a fight on the playground. Dana you could really take some lessons on class from a couple of your fighters.

Dana does speak his mind, whether the subject is good or bad at least he is not afraid of critism. Now as far as Elite XC, I have viewed their fights and they had 1 or 2 okay fights, especially the females. I guess Kimbo can go back to Youtube again, other fighters may get picked up by other organizations, MAYBE. True MMA fans will follow whom they find the best organization to follow and it will not be one that uses a boxing ring or boxing promoters. Boxing is cool but lets look at it, Boxing and MMA are 2 differents types of combat. What the future will hold, hopefully more TRUE MMA for us TRUE fans.

everybody making good points today. elite xc as a promotion def. sucked- good riddance! but at the same time, they forced everyone (especially ufc) to up their game and put on a few better fight cards. so maybe xc served their purpose in showing dana that, even though he's the top dog in the right now, he's not the only dog on the block... so to speak. and ufc has improved as a result.

and yes- dana is absolutely classless and should prob. have personal "handlers" or spokespeople doing his p.r. for him. but he is also the absolute savior of mma... so u kinda have to accept him and respect him for what he is. and he def. knows that, and takes full advantage of it. but dana's a straight shooter, who doesn't hold back, and doesn't care what anyone thinks of him, as long as his business succeeds... gotta respect that. would i be friends with the guy? prob. not. would i train with him? probably. would i run a business like him?- abso-f**kin-lutely!

Everything thing Dana said about ProElite in that clip is spot on! They were not making UFC up there game, they were turning MMA into a freak show with no credibility. Had they handled the Kimbo situation differently and told Shaw to hide in the back during fights maybe things would be different. I wish White would change his mind about women fights purely for Carano, but I can live without it. Let's hope UFC can land the few talented fighters Elite had so we can continue to watch them. I don't trust Affliction. It's not a good start when you have to cancel your 2nd ever show due to poor ticket sales. But at least they do have some talented fighters.
