We've pointed out on several occasions that Brock Lesnar doesn't simply play a mean guy on the big screen. The 6-foot-4, 285-pounder has a real nasty streak. He snapped before UFC 87 after a half dozen Frank Mir questions. Then he pulled some antics from his wrestling bag of tricks immediately following his win over Heath Herring. And in the post-fight, he got a little snippy with some of the questions from the media.

Lesnar topped himself on today's Randy Couture/UFC press conference. After repeatedly hearing about Fedor Emelianenko over the first 35 minutes of the call, Lesnar finally laid down the law.

"Who gives a (expletive) about Fedor. I'm fighting Randy Couture, that's what this press conference is about.

Some of the hardcore MMA fans, especially those Pride fanatics, may be really offended by what Lesnar said about Fedor. But keep in mind, mixed martial arts can't survive alone on soundbites from reserved, polite guys like Anderson Silva, Fedor and Georges St. Pierre. They're all great fighters but the fight game has always been driven to that extra level by solid trash talk and rivalries
