The outrage has grown over Dana White's Ultimate Fight Night 18 vlog that included an expletive-laced rant about an article published by Sherdog's Loretta Hunt. White dropped the f-bomb 42 times in a seven and half minute video piece using an anti-gay slur and describing the female reporter with a derogatory term.

Understandably, The Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) was up in arms and asked for an apology from the 39-year-old president of the UFC:

We’ve reached out to White and the UFC and are calling on them to apologize to his fans for using the slur, and to remove the video from his site.

OutSports.com now reports that Ted Rybka of GLAAD got a hold of White:

I just spoke with UFC President Dana White. White expressed remorse for a video blog posted April 1 in which he uttered misogynistic and anti-gay slurs (see here) and said he “never intended to hurt the gay community.”

He will issue a new video on the UFC’s YouTube page shortly in which he will apologize for the incident.

It's good see to White own up to his mistake. Will he also address the derogatory term that he used to describe the female reporter in question? Stay tuned.
