Earl Simmons better known as "DMX" isn't such a tough guy afterall. The rapper made headlines back in September when it leaked that he'd be making his debut as an MMA fighter against someone named Eric Martinez on a Dec. 12 Alabama card.

DMX, 38, started trash talking from the get-go saying he wasn't even going to train for the fight:

"We got a phone call, you know, asking if I wanted to participate in it. Yeah, why not? I figured I could do it. I'm just going to walk in as it is... It wouldn't be fair if I trained. I can fight for real though, so it is what it is."

The fight is now off because of ridiculous language DMX and his manager wanted in the fight contract. DMX needs to talk pro wrestling promoter Vince McMahon. According to documents acquired by TMZ:

X's manager, Nakia Walker, submitted an addendum to the rapper's original contract for the fight, stipulating: "Event Promoter and Management agree that [DMX] is scheduled to win the Boxing Challenge."

Huh? That doesn't sound like a real fight.

Walker also added a line which read, "All parties agree this event has been scheduled to occur only in fun and that the artist involved is not a professional boxer."

Part of the agreement was also not to release any of the details of the pre-determined results to the public. DMX now says he wants to fight regardless but the promoters, with a sour taste in their mouths, said no dice. Thunder Promotions has inserted Coolio to fight Martinez.

DMX is fresh out jail after serving a 90 day sentence in Arizona. He was locked up on charges of animal cruelty, theft and drug possession.

At least DMX said, "it is what it is," which is slang for, "please ignore everything I just said."

Haven't any of you seen Exit Wounds? With DMX and Steven Segeal? DMX is a bad@ss! As long as he's black. There's a scene in the movie where he get's blasted with a bunch of white powder. As soon as he goes white he get's his @ss whooped. Then I think it gets rinsed off and he goes on to win the fight. And he knows a bunch of karate moves in that movie. DMX is the man. He should definately fight Coolio.

    They cannot do that Robert.
Both of those guys will be headlining Strikeforce's next CBS card.
The under card will have Vern Troyer vs. Gary Coleman. Kanye West vs. Taylor Swift. Mickie Rourke vs. His Plastic Surgeons. And the spirits of Biggie Biog and Tupac.
It will be a must watch event for sure.

I want to comment, but what can one really say about this. I'd like to see DMX fight with...DMX, there seems to be an ongoing battle he has with himself and I'd love to see who would win in the cage.

zach....where i'm from and where i am are two different things....but i'm in texas now, from california. also lived in virginia and florida. actually my hometown in cali was the smallest town i've lived in, since then it's been strictly highly populated areas. ohio??? did a couple jobs there several years ago, couldn't pay me to go back.....well, maybe that's the only way i'd go back there....otherwise it's just taking up space between the good parts.

gohubb, i don't give a crap how populated ohio is that doesn't make it any less crappy.
deanbobber, i'm in austin myself....and honestly, texas isn't half bad....not sure how i'd do anywhere other than austin as i've been told it's the california of texas, which suits me just fine. i'm from the san diego area originally but i was born in santa barbara and spent my summers there usually when i was a kid.

Seriously Coolio? Don't get me wrong great guy in person, I've met him and partied with him over the summer, but dudes like 50 something ain't he? How would he last in a "real" mma fight? I sence another fix amongst the fixed fight previously schedualed.....at least DMX would have been half believeable, win or lose..
