Cris Cyborg will choke a blogger

Most of the below video is Aaron Tru from MMA Worldwide priding himself in actually liking women's MMA -- how enlightened! -- so you won't miss much if you skip ahead to the 4:25 mark. When you do, you'll see Aaron Tru get choked out by Cristiane Cyborg.

I'm not talking about the kind, knowing choking of a blogger that Frank Shamrock did to Dewey Hammond. I'm talking the holy-crap-there-was-no-warning-what-the-hell-happened kind of choke. After Tru awakens from the choke, Cyborg asks him who he will pick for her August 15 fight with Gina Carano. He wisely picks Cyborg, as he probably doesn't want to be choked out again.

    This fight will be a big step for Women's MMA if they can pull it off with out all the crap from their last fights. It would look pretty bad if they cannot give out a title because neither woman made weight. Personally I think this will be an awesome fight and I cannot wait for it. All I have heard is how Gina is overrated. From what I have seen she is extreamly talented and very well collected when she fights. I think her biggest issue will be conditioning....which is both of their biggest flaws. I put my money on Gina.......

    When did they let little kids on here to post? "She should be sued" He's a big boy, She was just giving a demonstration, I don't see Gina lasting one round, all you fans of her body should watch Cyborgs last fight, or any, All of her opponents together don't add up to Santos.

    I just hope that it's a good fight, people tend to forget that Gina won a Thai Championship and this will be the first Man vs Woman match in MMA...It's very Historic!

    I saw Cyborg's last fight. She had trouble putting away a girl with half her size and strength. Hell, the only reason she didn't get submitted was she was so big by comparison that she could just muscle the girl around.
    And Gina isn't overrated. She won a Muay Thai championship IN THAILAND. She's by far a better striker, and has never had as much trouble with an opponent as Cyborg did against her tiny opponent.

    I say Cyborg wins by rear naked choke just like we saw that dork get, He better change them shorts but that's after she breaks Gina's nose and face, it will not be pretty watching Gina getting worked over for now 5 minutes which is her biggest problem since she gets dead tired after 3mins So I cant wait for Cyborg to end this I am to pretty for my shirt BS.

    I can't believe there are some of you that don't think this was staged. The goof can't keep the stupid grin off his face when he's asking the question about women finishing submissions, then he still has the grin on his mug when he walks in front of her. He asked for that...because he is an idiot. Awful interview.
    Next time, please ask Brock Lesnar why it is that big heavyweights just don't seem to have one-punch KO power.

    Nutcracker is actually right for once Cofield, where is the post fight blog about the fix in the Clottey-Cotto fight, is it just so commonplace in boxing now that it doesn't deserve mention. This was as bad as the Quartey-Forrest decision, african fighters should boycott NYC, and Clottey though from Ghana lives in NY. And could you please interview Cyborg next.

    Gina is WAY overrated... Mr. Santos will dominate her for about three minutes until Gina gases completely. At this point Gina gets choked or simply KTFO... I would prefer that. I'd like to see her daddy cry about how they let this big scary man kick the crap outta his li'l girl...

    if anyone here can't see this chick is on testosterone you've got blinders on. Listen to a Carano interview and you hear all female. Santos is a few cycles away from becoming a man. How is this even a fair fight? Gina is basically fighting a dude.

    Nutsucker-I said I've met all of them, as have everyone who lives in this area, As usual your reputation as a know everything about everything (Now you're a boxing expert) genius is as good as gold again, I bet you're a balding mid 40's, never made it in any sport look up The Sporting News everyday for twists on these usually mundane topics , and act like your wealth of knowledge is astounding us, If I have to give you some basic (everyone already knows) knowledge of Pulvers career then I will-He used to be good, there was that in terms your highness can understand? I also happen to work next to their gym-coincidentally, So please keep enlightening us with your expertise of all things MMA-Boxing. (And I used to wonder why other bloggers on here constantly made derogatory comments about you-Thanks for clearing that up.)
