Randy Couture has a good sense of humor when it comes to his UFC 91 opponent Brock Lesnar. Couture has seen Lesnar lose his cool on several occasions both in person during a conference call and on ESPN's E60 piece.

On the conference call, Lesnar told the media to asking about (expletive) Fedor. Lesnar, who is built like an NFL offensive lineman at 6-3, 290 pounds, stormed off the set during the ESPN's piece when Tom Farrey began to ask a steroid question. There's no doubt that the guy UFC president Dana White once called a bear has a short fuse.

'The Natural' told Yahoo! Sports in a video interview that part of his plan is to see if he can tap into that Lesnar temper. Couture's camp gave a suggestion to get Lesnar to lose his head even before the fight starts:

"Some of the guys were saying when you guys face off and touch gloves you should whisper 'steroids' and watch his blood pressure go up."

Couture did say that he thinks that UFC and MMA does a great job policing steroid use.

Another strategy to be used against Lesnar. ^^

Well Randy sure seems ready , nice guy but best days are behind him . He will not be able to out strike Lesner
or out ground him .Too big and to much skill to match up. and age will factor also. Randy always has a chance with anyone . but remember he gets knocked out by alot smaller guys. First round k.o/ Lesner. Then he will have to take on the new blood. Should be fun. Randy will coach. tons of experience and lot to offer that way. Lesner is
only a few guys that can come in and make the transition to mma and make it look easy. raw nateral talent.
with a strong wrestling base one dangerous combination.

Randy going to poke a bear #Hahahahahahah# go ahead and find out what happens when you play around with a bear it will tear your cauliflower ears off and stuff them down your old dried out throat.
Lesnar has seen and heard it all before when he would wrestle at the amateur and pro wrestling matches.
Randy you need a new game plan like going back in time and get younger!

Lesner has raw natural talent, you got to be kiddin me. He's 1-1 in the ufc against inferior competition. All he did in his last fight was lean on his man, and when he have him down, he didn't have a clue what to do next. The mans a complete mma rube, the only thing he has going for him is his massive size and his known name (which the ufc is taken full advantage of). Certainly he doesn't have much in the brain department, and its obvious he's been on steriods before. I'd love to see Randy make an example out of this idiot/pretender.

MIR is inferior competition? Heath Herring is a chump? and it's spelled Lesnar.
I assume you did get your own name right...

Knuckles, if you think Mir & Herring are worthy enough competition to place Lesnar amougst the best mma fighters today, well ... I can only assume you've only just started watching MMA.

Knuckles, yes, I do place both Mir & Herring in an inferior class when compared to Randy's level of competition. I also contend that Lesnar hasn't done nearly enough to warrant a championship match at this stage of his UFC career. And BTW, I've been watching the UFC since UFC#1. BTW, you spelled f~k wrong (unlike you, I don't need to use vulgarity) ... so should I assume you can't spell your own name correctly?

Knuckles, actually, I was being facetious when I said you can't spell f~k. Of course, that's probably beyond your capacity. No wonder you used the term DUH in your replies.

yeah your right Anthony.. one of us makes 6 figures working in the IT industry with a 145+ I.Q. and speaks 3 languages fluently...
and the other thinks Frank Mir and Keith Herring are "inferior" MMA fighters....

LOL, imagine that, a knucklehead with a 145IQ, who uses the term "duh" to illustrate his point, and who supposedly makes 6 figures simply couldn't understand a basic and obvious facetious comment. Wow, you're so convincing! (BTW, I'm being facitious again, so don't hurt yourself trying to comprehend that line on your way to welfare).

For some reason (and I hope I'm wrong) I forsee Randy doing his best Machida and Bisbing impersonations and circle the 'gon away from Lesnar's right hand. Trying to gas Lesnar out waiting to get to the later rounds. Or Randy is gonna attach himself like a tick and hope for a decision. Not too much toe to toe stuff at all.
ANTHONY B.........Didn't Randy get KO'd by Chuck twice(so we know his chin can't take the shot)? How many fights has he been in since then? He will be a little rusty and that's not a good thing with a guy as hungry as Lesnar and more importantly Lesnar's straight right. Mir is inferior? Come on dude? Seriously? You're the one that sounds like he hasn't watched MMA for very long or have even trained at all. Barring a cut, I see Mir taking Big Nog the distance.

Well, beardown, in case you missed it, Randy dominated both Sylvia and Gonzoga. Lesnar lost to Mir and beat Herring. I watched both Lesnar fights and I didn't see much mma talent, just size. Mir is a decent fighter, but he's not the champ he used to be, and I see Nog beating him relatively easily. I also see Coulture beating Lesnar and I fully anticipate a Nog/Randy fight in the future. We'll see ...

145+ Wow, better stay inside near the couch or you might hurt yourself with your over inflated ego. Dude, you got into a farting match with a Dolt, that dosen't show me intelliegince at all..Boner...Herring and Mir, are great fighter's they have proven themselves as tough dudes over and over again. They both did what they were told to do in the fights at the time Very trustworthy..But why a guy would take an a#% kicking for three rounds goes to show you that once your in the UFC you do what your TOLD....and the only way out is tog et bounced out or to run around the cage looking like Ed Herrmin...

Lesnar was all the tools to beat any fighter , size, and speed , more experience than his record indicates
and learning as he is going along. I would be surpised if randy could test him at all. Randy has two chances to win this fight slim and none and none just left town .. that leaves slim left.....

Beardown, Knuckle Sandwich, whadup? I'm not usually out here much on the weekend but I'm glad I checked, Knuckles has a good one going.
Beardown, I'm glad I'm not the only person in the world who gives Mir a chance against Nog. Mir is tough as hell, (look at what he's come back from), has KO strength and as everyone knows SUBMISSIONS. I'm sure it's going to be a helluva match but I'm going with what everyone in the world see's as an upset. Mir takes it.

Total BS.. Couture should not be talking about performance enhancers. He has used so much HGH he is looking more like Cro-magnon man by the day.. Lesnar will take Couture's' back, and then blow kisses to Kim Couture at ringside...

Ican, calling a tough journeyman like Herring a "great" fighter waters down the entire mma gene pool by a significant margin. If he's "great" then 99% of all UFC fighters must also be "great". However, I guess you were told to say something stupid, so you did? (sigh)

Why no blog about Leben testing positive for roids? My guess lesnar is on HGH the test can only pick up on it if you have taken it within the last 48 hours so its pretty hard to detect!

Knuckle - I guess everyone who has wrestled since college, been a 3 time Olympic alternate and then fought in the UFC for years and weighs a platry 220#s is on steroids!! "He has used so much HGH he looks like the cromagnon man". Who the hell and who the hell are you to throw out statements like that about someone?? He didn't come into the UFC or out of college at 155 and balloon up! He has been down to 185 and up to 220. NOT a big weight flux for a wrestler of his background. Opinions are one thing but making direct statements like that about someone who was tested in college and DEFINETLY tested as a 3 time Olympic alternate (that would be 12 years worth) and tested in the UFC and always has come up clean makes you look like a baffoon!

The Great White Dink. Your ignorance is my bliss.. Obviously you dont know why someone like Couture would use HGH... It is not for size, although I dont doubt it helps to keep some pounds on him while training.. There are many other reasons, too many to mention here. But one hint is that for older guys, it negates many things that come with age.... You sound like a totally naive baffoon!!!!!
