I think that he may be comparing Kickboxers to Muay Thai fighters. I have a jiu jitsu and Tae Kwon Do background, so I only know about kicking with the instep. I am guessing that if you kick with your shin (ouch!), it would sort of be like being hit with a bat?
IDK? Are there any videos out their pitting Thai boxing vs Kickboxers?
