Junie Browning is back on his feet and spoke with the media yesterday. RawVegas.tv and Fighters Only both caught up with the fallen fighter. Browning was admitted to a Henderson, Nevada hospital last week after taking 16 pills of Klonopin. He then excerbated his problems by attacking three nurses. Browning was arrested on three counts of misdemeanor assault.

In the RawVegas video, he explains that he's got a lot of demons to deal with and that he's still working on controlling those issues. Browning also apologizes to anyone involved in the incident or that he hurt along the way.

There was no blog that smashed Browning harder for his antics and loss of control during "The Ultimate Fighter" than this one, but I stand by my words last week. The UFC dumping the kid makes little sense. They stuck by Browning during the show with Dana White proudly proclaiming that he felt like the promotion was giving the Kentucky-native a roadmap to a successful life. So why did that change when Browning went on his Quinton Jackson-like binge and rampage last week?

Umm..the difference between him and Quinton Jackson is that rampage has (as far as i know) never caused a problem before his incident. Browning has been a problem since he started. There comes a time where you cant keep holding someones hand. What is so hard to understand here. Yeah, dana gave him the roadmap, and browning pissed on it. Case closed.

I posted all those comments before actually watching the video...now that I have watched the video I have come to see that I was right. So i guess junie is the victim because he is from arkansas and never had anything and is depressed? That's not Dana's problem. His job is to make the UFC into a successful company (which he has done). The last thing he has time to do is be Junie Browning's long-lost daddy.

Joe and Barry pretty much said it all. Nothing else needs to be said about this subject. I don't understand the comparison of Junie's situation to Rampage's unless Rampage, like Junie, had a history of bad behavior/getting into trouble etc. But Junie's got a lot of demons to dealing with. I guess that explains it. Good job Cofield. Great story. You da man.

Go to Strike Force and stay out of trouble for 1 year- then come back to UFC . Just clean up and get your crap and get straight- pretty easy dude. He is a marketable guy as the "heel" people will always watch to see him get his butt kicked.

Yes, Dana enabled Junie by not kicking him off the show. But one enabling act does not mean more have to come.
Junie needs to be in a psych ward....try and get his meds adjusted to where he can keep himself from acting out and be stable. Maybe then he can figure out what is actually causing his mental disturbances.
I hope he gets better. Not that I am a fan of his....but I am a fan of overcoming mental illness.

"So why did that change when Browning went on his Quinton Jackson-like binge and rampage last week"?
Because Dana White realized Browning wasn't this huge draw he'd foreseen him as so could no longer make money off of him. Dana White's plan was to use Browning to try and target the troubled teen/ troubled young adult demographic. Do you really have to ask us Cofield? Why don't you just grow a pair and post it yourself instead of hiding in your shell and asking us to state the OBVIOUS?

The guy's a loser. Let him fight his demons in a church or a psych ward. The UFC is not a babysitting service and it's not "American Idol" where everyone gets to be a one-hit wonder and try to strike it rich. He got his shot, he blew it (multiple times), he's done. If he cleans up his act, let him come back, but the UFC's job is not to make people out of trash. Junie is trash because he likes being trash. Nobody can change that except him.

Two Words...... F**K HIM!!!!! and who gives a flying f**K about him.
There are thousands, no MILLIONS of people that fight personal demons everyday and probably have it A LOT worse that this little tool. And there are not given 3 or 4 shots at assaulting people, etc, etc like he did on the show. THis kid is LUCKY he doesnt have a couple felonies on his record.
And you want me to feel SORY for him??? Sorry that he was let go by the UFC???? Unbeleivable. This [profane] was given CHANCE after CHANCE after CHANCE and you want me to feel sorry for him. Thousands suicide every month...where is your heartfelt piece on that???? And most of them probably have;nt had the NUMEROUS opportunities this f**K has had.
I cant beleive anyone would feel sorry for this guy. HE couldnt fight to begin with. Dana USED him just for ratings. That Jesse Taylor guy was in teh FINALS and Dana screwed him???? Where is Cagewriters heartfelt cry about??? And Jesse messed up ONCE, NOT 3 or 4 times.
AGAIN, there are MILLIONS of other people that have it worse than JUNIE BROWNING. It is time to forget about this little tool and LET HIM DEAL LIKE EVERYOEN ELSE THAT HAS GOT PROBLEMS IN THE WORLD!!

it's the same sob story he told when he was on TUF. "i need to do this...i need to do that". then he would promptly go and soak his brain in as much alcohol as he possibly could. those aren't the actions of someone who truly wants to change. i will say this for junie.....he's got the talking part down. unfortunately, the talking part is the easy part. some people look for sympathy and talk about change, some people actually make the change.

The real question is, who would you root for in a Browning vs. Cofield bout?
Seriously, I just wish the amount of attention given to Browning was given to some more deserving fighter...and alas now I am contributing to the problem...

Rampage was in a hit and run and drove into oncoming traffic, no big deal. Also a lady he hit later had a miscarriage, and it is unclear if he killed the baby or not. Atleast jnuie is apologizing and trying, rampage is still an arrogant loser
