Want more proof of where the UFC is versus UFC 1 or even the days when the new ownership took over in 2001? Hollywood wouldn't have sniffed the renegade fight league as an advertising partner back then. That's all changed over the last two years. The UFC has partnered with Rogue Pictures on several occasions and at UFC 100, the most viewed event in history, the promotion has landed The Weinstein Company and its movie "Inglourious Basterds."
How hot is the UFC 100 from a partnership standpoint, this blockbuster movie won't even get a spot on the mat:
"Inglourious Basterds," written and directed by Quentin Tarantino and starring Brad Pitt, Diane Kruger, Mélanie Laurent, Christoph Waltz and Eli Roth will have a logo presence inside the Octagon (positioned along two of the eight vertical bumpers) and will appear as an animated billboard at the start of the Pay-Per-View telecast.
The movie joins sponsors like Bud Light, Tequila Cazadores and Harley-Davidson.
