Seattle Sounders coach Sigi Schmid remained hospitalized on Saturday after being diagnosed with pneumonia. The team said in a release that Schmid started experiencing shortness of breath on Thursday and was taken to Overlake Hospital in suburban Bellevue. Schmid's condition stabilized and he was improving, the team added.
