CARSON, Calif. (STATS) - Maykel Galindo punctuated his recovery from a chronic hernia injury by scoring perhaps his most important goal in three years with Chivas USA. Galindo scored in the 50th minute as Chivas USA rallied for a 2-all tie with the Los Angeles Galaxy in the first game of their Western Conference semifinal series Sunday.

Shalrie Joseph scored in the 75th minute to lift the New England Revolution to a 2-1 victory over the Chicago Fire on Sunday in the opening game of their Eastern Conference semifinal series.
