D.C. United signs F N’Silu
WASHINGTON (TICKER) —D.C. United on Tuesday signed 22-year-old forward Mawate Ange N’Silu, a native of the Congo who officially will be added to the roster after he receives a visa.
Last season, be played for FC Le Mont, a Swiss team based in Lausanne, and scored 25 goals in 31 games.
“Ange showed very well during our pre-season training and he is deserving of place on our roster,” United general manager Dave Kasper said. “He is technically sound with good athletic qualities, and will provide solid depth for us on our front line.”
Born in the Congo and raised France, N’Silu signed with Le Havre AC of the top French league when he was 15 years old.
