Nats expecting Thomas to hit IL with knee injury

Washington Nationals outfielder Lane Thomas is awaiting MRI results on his left knee and likely is headed to the injured list, general manager Mike Rizzo said. "I would probably anticipate him going on the (IL) because you don't walk off the field like that and get an MRI when you're going to play the next day," Rizzo told 106.7 The Fan on Wednesday.
