      <description>The Toronto Blue Jays have placed right-hander Scott Richmond on the 15-day disabled list with a sore shoulder. Richmond is 6-5 with a 3.69 ERA in 16 games, 13 starts, this season. He has gone seven innings in each of his last two starts, going 1-1 and allowing just five runs. Manager Cito Gaston said after Toronto lost 6-5 to the New York Yankees in 12 innings Saturday that Richmond has tendinitis.</description>

      <description> &lt;p&gt;&lt;p&gt;It wasn't so much losing to New York on Friday, but it was how they lost.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The Jays blew this one in the fifth inning when they allowed the Yankees to score two runs despite the fact the lone hit they collected off Brian Tallet was a bunt single.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The problem was that Tallet started the inning with two walks prior to Johnny Damon's bunt single that loaded the bases.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;A third walk, this one to Mark Teixeira, brought in a run as did a passed ball by catcher Raul Chavez.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;"I feel bad how we lost," said Tallet, who took the loss. So far, so good. Instead of worrying about his changeup sinking down and in, the traditional power zone for left-handed hitters, Tallet&#39;s off-speed pitch is fooling batters on either side of the plate.</p><br clear="all" />]]></description>
