The NFL and/or the New York Giants aren’t very good at public records requests, it seems. It’s all a pretty embarrassing mess for the league and the Giants, who didn’t seem too interested in finding out everything there was to know about Brown’s case.
If you haven’t seen the video of Bears quarterback Connor Shaw getting his leg snapped on Saturday afternoon…well, maybe don’t. Shaw himself was pretty upset about it, as well he should be. Shaw expressed his disappointment in a tweet Sunday morning, but he deleted it, so we can’t paste it in here for you to read for yourself.
San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick has been a lightning rod for attention in his career, and his latest statements surely could make him an even more polarizing figure. Kaepernick explained his unwillingness to stand for the playing of the national anthem, which of course happens before the kickoff of every NFL game. It happened in last night’s preseason game at Levi’s Stadium against the Green Bay Packers, one in which he struggled in his first action since last season.
