      <description><![CDATA[ <p><p>The Giants' rotation is full of big names, with Cy Young winners Randy Johnson, Tim Lincecum and Barry Zito, and Matt Cain.</p>
<p>Now rookie Ryan Sadowski appears ready to step right in with no drop-off whatsoever. </p>
<p>Sadowski made his second major-league start on Friday, and in his debut at AT&T Park, he worked seven scoreless innings and allowed three hits. He also walked one and struck out four.</p>
<p>So that's 13 scoreless innings so far for Sadowski to start his career. That's amazing enough, but add to that the fact that six years ago, at the age of 20, Sadowski needed brain surgery for a subdural hematoma, or bleeding in the brain, according to the San Jose Mercury News.</p>
<p>Doctors told him he would not pitch again, and yet here he is.]]></description>
