      <description><![CDATA[ <p><p>Matt Cain seldom gets much run support. Since the start of the 2007 season, the Giants have managed one run or fewer in 17 of his 41 starts.</p>
<p>So on Tuesday night, he helped himself out with a solo homer in the fifth inning, the fourth home run of his career&mdash;and Cain also wound up with his second victory of the season, against one of baseball's hottest teams. The Astros entered the game 10-1 in May.</p>
<p>Cain's teammates did some good offensive work in getting him a 3-0 lead in the first inning.
