      <description><![CDATA[ <p><p>Another reason has surfaced why Detroit deserves its lowly AL Central standing&mdash;no clutch hitting.</p>
<p>The Tigers entered play Tuesday night as the only team in the AL Central with a lower batting average with runners in scoring position than its overall batting average.</p>
<p>On Tuesday, the Tigers only produced two runs, one in the first and another in the second.</p>
<p>They loaded the bases in the sixth but could not score.</p>
<p>The Tigers were hitting .264 as a team but .251 with runners in scoring position.
