Tigers lineup: Spencer Torkelson not starting for first time in 2024

First baseman Spencer Torkelson, who has started all 23 of the Detroit Tigers' games to this point, will be coming off the bench on Tuesday night. The Tigers (13-10) play the Tampa Bay Rays at 6:50 p.m. at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Fla. Torkelson is still seeking his first home run of the season, but he does have eight doubles, tied for first place in the American League. In addition to Torkelson, catcher Jake Rogers and infielders Zach McKinstry and Buddy Kennedy will be available off the bench.
