D-backs' Nelson, hit by comebacker, lands on IL

The Arizona Diamondbacks placed right-hander Ryne Nelson on the 15-day injured list Friday because of an elbow contusion suffered the previous night. Nelson was hit on the right arm by a line drive off the bat of the San Francisco Giants' Mike Yastrzemski during the second inning of his start Thursday night.
