White Sox hurler Mark Buehrle(notes) has two years left on his contract and he's apparently thinking he could hang 'em up when that's over, according to ChicagoBreakingSports.
He says people think he's crazy for saying it but he thinks it could be "pretty easy" to do it. "My family is the biggest thing. I want to see my kids grow up. I don't want to have to be down here at spring training or during the season be out on the road somewhere and have my son and my daughter call me saying 'Daddy, I scored a goal or I got a hit today in a game.' I want to be there for that."
And if you've got millions in the bank, why not, right?
Buerhle went on to say he feels like he's "done enough stuff in this game" already to feel satisfied when he does decide to split.
His daughter is about to turn 1 and his son will be 3 in July.
