Six teams on Royals closer Soria's no-trade list
Kansas City Royals closer Joakim Soria(notes) has six teams on a no-trade list, FOX Sports reports: the Los Angeles Dodgers, Colorado Rockies, Atlanta Braves, Philadelphia Phillies, Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees.
The Kansas City Star has it that the Royals would charge an "exorbitant" price to any team that wanted the 27-year-old two-time All-Star. The Star also reports that Royals execs claim the team has never had any kind of upper-level talks with the Yankees about a Soria deal.
Soria has saved 15 games for Kansas City this season, but he's also blown five. He's got a 4.08 ERA and has struck out 33 in 38 innings.
