It was once reported that Kansas City Royals ace Zack Greinke(notes) would only allow himself to be traded to certain teams and didn't want anything to do with any big-market franchises, but he has told the team that he'll take a trade to any location, according to FOXSports.com.
Greinke, 27, had 15 teams on his no-trade list, but he plans to waive his right of refusal if traded to any of them, the site reports.
One place Greinke could be headed, FOXSports.com notes, is to the Toronto Blue Jays, who just traded Shaun Marcum(notes) out of their rotation. The Jays have contacted the Royals to discuss a possible deal.
Greinke went 10-14 with 181 strikeouts in 220 innings last season. In his seven seasons with the Royals, he's gone 60-67 with a 3.82 ERA.
