Lots of rumors keep emerging about trades that the Philadelphia Phillies could be making as insurance for Chase Utley(notes), who has been sidelined with patellar tendinitis, chondromalacia and bone inflammation in the right knee.
Phils GM Ruben Amaro Jr., though, doesn't want to hear about it.
"I don't know how many times I can say that publicly -- I have no money to play with," Amaro told MLB Network Radio on Monday, according to MLB.com. "Our payroll is going to be over $160 million or so, and I'm tapped out, my friend. Maxed out."
