MLB - Scoop Du Jour

After not playing in the majors for two years, pitcher Kris Benson(notes) returned to the big leagues last year with the Texas Rangers and pitched 21.1 innings, posting a 1-1 record and a whopping 8.46 ERA.

But the Washington Nationals are apparently interested in him, according to an interview he gave on Sirius XM Monday. The two sides are supposedly still talking about bringing him in.

However, the 35-year-old also says he's in no rush to actually sign anywhere right now. And that's good, because it doesn't seem like any team -- even the Nats -- are in any rush to sign him.
