Los Angeles Dodgers owner Frank McCourt is in a bit of a pickle. His team had a great season but he and his wife, Jamie, are very publicly separated and she apparently would like to own the baseball team instead of him, according to the Los Angles Times. Actually, both sides already claim that they are the actual owners of the club.
Frank fired Jamie as CEO of the team this week and now Jamie is apparently trying to line up investors so she can try to take over sole ownership of the club. The Times reports that she has contacted a few "prominent baseball figures" to figure out the direction of the team.
"Jamie is disappointed and saddened by her termination," attorney Dennis Wasser said Thursday to the paper. "As co-owner of the Dodgers, she will address this and all other issues in the courtroom."
Looks like it's going to be a long and interesting off-season for the Dodgers.

There was no need to make their public statement of them separating prior to NLCS.
