Hitoshi Tamura has been playing pro ball in Japan for more than a decade, but ESPN reports that the 33-year-old outfielder now wants to take a shot at the major leagues and is "exploring a move."

Five teams have reportedly scouted him so far: the Arizona Diamondbacks, Texas Rangers, San Francisco Giants, San Diego Padres and Cleveland Indians.

ESPN notes that Tamura was leading the Fukuoka Softbank Hawks with a .324 batting average and 27 home runs, but he has suffered many injuries throughout his career.
