Los Angeles Dodgers reliever Jeff Weaver(notes), who has a 4.99 ERA and 5-1 record this season, would like to play for one more season, preferably for the Dodgers, the Los Angeles Times reports. He's been with the Dodgers the last two seasons and had a previous run with them in 2004-2005.

Weaver, 34, has signed minor league deals the last three seasons and is currently making $800,000.

Weaver has been in the majors since 1999 when he took the mound for the Detroit Tigers. He's also played for the New York Yankees, Seattle Mariners, Los Angeles Angels, and St. Louis Cardinals, with whom he won a World Series in 2006.
